Responsibilities:

• Flexible to work early mornings (5:30am-10:30am)
• Assist all guests in a courteous manner and visible during service hours.
• Prepare and set-up breakfast according to brand standards and in compliance with local, county and city health department standards.
• Consistently check and replenish food to ensure appearance, temperature and portions are correct.
• Clear and clean tables and chairs as needed during and after service hours.
• Maintain clean and well-organized dining and work areas to include disinfecting all areas where food is prepared and served.
• Prepare food items for following day; check inventories and report to supervisor any items that should be placed on the next food order.
• Demonstrate a working knowledge of all services and facilities of the hotel as well as the local area to effectively assist guests.
• Communicate properly and effectively with guests, associates and managers.
• Complete food handlers training.
• Maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene and adhere to the hotel and department grooming standards.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance.
• Ability to work shifts, over weekends, and on public holidays, as needed.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Sound knowledge of food safety guidelines.
• Previous experience in the hospitality industry, preferably within a similar role.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• Capacity to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
• Excellent organizational, multitasking, and verbal communication skills.
• Attentive to detail.
• Friendly, service-driven disposition.
